Our Story
In June of 2011, we founded the Center for Excellence in Hebron, West Bank, where we host international volunteers, interns, and employees who wish to work with us to develop socially, educationally, and in community outreach. Our services go directly to the people of Palestine, as for us, there is nothing we want more than to help educate and improve skills for internationals and locals alike while advocating and aiding the local community we serve every day.
In our thirteen years of experience, we have received a truly remarkable amount of positive feedback from the over 800 internationals we have taken on here in our programs, and our staff has grown to fifteen dedicated and passionate people who want nothing more than to make your time in Palestine the best it can be.
In the past thirteen years, we have been just as committed to this community as we have to strengthening and perfecting what we offer as an organization, and we will continue to grow our relationships with our community for as long as we are here; to us, that is tantamount. In our eyes, one of the most important and special things we can provide you – which we take much pride in – is access to our deep and well-respected roots and connections within the community here, as we will truly be able to show you the reality, community, and life of the West Bank like no other organization.
Since 2011, we have founded specific branches within our organization for work with community outreach and development and Arabic language learning, and regardless of which program you choose, everyone is focused on providing quality experiences, education, and immersion in the daily life of Palestinians.
But we also knew we wanted to provide something for people who don’t want to work, and instead simply want to experience everything Palestine has to offer. For this reason, we started the program Travel to Palestine, where we hope that we can help bring you eye-opening and unforgettable experiences through traveling to this beautiful place so many people call home. Like our other programs, Travel to Palestine also allows you to be immersed in the everyday reality of life in the West Bank, gain a deeper cultural, societal, and historical understanding of this region, and become more knowledgeable about everything Palestine has to offer.
In this program, our staff are there to guide you through every step of the way and provide any information, help, or assurance you might need. We want people to be able to take in Palestine while knowing they have an expert team of locals who will be there to support them however they need, so that is exactly what we can promise you.
Mission:
Our mission with this program is simple: we want to support people in visiting Palestine in any way they need, whether it be through providing information on the best ways to travel to Palestine, what can be expected in Palestine, what sights and experiences should be sought out in Palestine, and anything else you could need! We want to make your experience of visiting Palestine as comfortable and easy as possible so you can enjoy everything it has to offer, so we’re here to provide you with knowledge, help, and answers to anything you could need regarding traveling here. We want to be the best website and organization out there in regards to visiting Palestine because we truly care about this land and helping people access it in the best and easiest ways possible.
Vision:
Our vision with our program, Travel to Palestine, is to support the people who take part in it in any way they can so they can experience Palestine to the fullest! We want to help you come to this beautiful land and take in everything it has to offer, so we’re always here for you with information, assistance, and answers to any questions you might have.
